San Francisco interior designer John Anderson creates classic environments as seen through a modernist’s eye. Known for his impeccable balance of traditional, mid-century and contemporary elements, Anderson creates urbane interiors that are fresh but enduring.

After working with several of the Bay Area’s most notable firms, Anderson founded his studio in 2004. His recent projects include residences in Russian Hill, SOMA, Calistoga and Napa. Each distinctive interior is the result of a thoughtful collaboration with the client to create a rich, comfortable, functional home that truly embraces their lifestyle.

Anderson has over twenty years of experience in residential, commercial and hospitality interior design and architecture, including work with the firms of renowned designers Steven Volpe and Orlando Diaz-Azcuy, as well as with Babey Moulton Jue & Booth and Backen & Gillam Architects. He holds a BS in interior design from the College of Architecture and Environmental Design at Arizona State University.
